WOOL
For all applications, except for particular project qualities, we use wool from New Zealand. The 100% natural wool fibres are long, full and flexible. They are the ideal base for our comfortable, decorative and durable carpets. Being a natural product, wool is very elastic. That is why the fibres always return to their straight position, even in places that are frequently walked on, and why they retain their fullness and soft quality. Wool has a natural protective layer that is water-repellent. So spilt liquid is not immediately absorbed by the fibres. Moreover, wool is antistatic, not very flammable and even dirt-resistant so a woollen carpet remains beautiful for a longer period of time.
NEW ZEALAND WOOL
We choose wool from New Zealand that is known as the purest and whitest wool in the world. The wool does not need further bleaching, which is a non-ecological technique that also damages the fibres. The use of this pure new wool fits into our policy of quality without compromise. The soft and elastic fibres are ideal for use in our many design carpets with a large variety of structure and design.
SDN, SOLUTION DYED NYLON
Project applications require an extremely high durability and therefore we use, more and more, SDN, Solution Dyed Nylon. As its name implies, this nylon fibre by Antron /Invista has been dyed in a solution. This offers a large number of advantages regarding colourfastness. In the long term the original colour does not change in strong sunlight or when the carpet is walked on very frequently. Moreover, the fibres allow a better Teflon treatment giving even more protection against soiling. Thanks to these resistant SDN fibres your project profits right away from the know-how and the guarantee you can expect from a worldwide company like Antron/ Invista
